It is remarkable that any TV show, let alone a cartoon, would last twenty years. But The Simpsons is just that juggernaut, still pulling in high ratings every Sunday night for Fox, not to mention the sales of merchandise and collectibles. To celebrate this amazing achievement, I pored through past seasons to find my favorite 20 episodes of The Simpsons. Which one is your favorite?

This week Adult Swim brings back Lucy, Daughter of the Devil and Frisky Dingo to its late-night block of cartoons. Plus, get double doses of King of the Hill and The Simpsons Sunday night on Fox.

Eleven years of South Park? Whoa. I'm sure when the show first aired on Comedy Central in 1997, not even Matt Stone and Trey Parker thought it would last this long. Part of the reason is because the show is quick and cheap to make. Another reason are the episodes as strong as "The Snuke" and "Guitar Queer-O." I'm getting excited about the new TV season coming soon, but in the meantime I'm catching up on any episodes I might have missed in the past year. These top sites are the best places to watch The Simpsons, South Park and other cartoons you may have missed, or want to watch again.

I'm really looking forward to the premiere of Sit Down, Shut Up from the creator of Arrested Development. But it doesn't air until spring! Learn more about this most-likely-to-bust-a-gut new animated series, Sit Down, Shut Up, starring Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and other comedy greats.

I love me some Futurama, but one of my least favorite episodes is on Comedy Central Tuesday night, "The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings." I know it was a series finale and all, but that whole flute business was just too sappy. Over on Adult Swim, they keep things rocking on Saturday night with The Venture Brothers and Metalocalypse. Sunday night, Fox dumps Sarah Connor to show us two hours of cartoons, with a double dollop of American Dad. See the full animated TV schedule.

Adult Swim is continuing the retro trend with The Brak Show and Sealab 2021 and the like on Saturday night. Those are some of the programs Adult Swim originally started with, when it was still part of Cartoon Network, and they showed bumps of old folks swimming in pools. Adult Swim is also filling the gap on Saturday night with Metalocalyspe and The Venture Brothers. Review the full animated TV schedule for more shows, days and times.

Recently I had a delightful chat with Catherine Taber, the actress who portrays Padme Amidala in the new Clone Wars movie, which will be in theaters Friday.
